Trial Lessons


Robinson R22

The two-seater aircraft, the World’s most commonly used helicopter for ab initio training.

Trial lessons are of the following duration and cost and are sold under the understanding that the ‘flight time’ is from Rotor Start to Rotor Stop, which includes both warm-up and cooling-down periods of 2 to 3 minutes.

  • 30 Minute Lesson. Consists of a 20 minute briefing, the flying (approximately 27 to 28 minutes) with a 10 minute post flight discussion, and costs £135.00.
  • 45 Minute Lesson. Consists of a 30 minute briefing, the flying (approximately 42 to 43 minutes) with a 15 minute post flight discussion, and costs £195.00.
  • 60 Minute Lesson. Consists of a 40 minute briefing, the flying (approximately 57 to 58 minutes) with a 20 minute post flight discussion, and costs £260.00.

Jetranger

This five-seat can also be used for trial lessons and can carry up to two guests, together with the student, for the duration of the flight/

    • Voucher valid for 6 months from date of issue.
    • All times shown are from rotor start to rotor off and do not include the pre-flight nor post-flight briefings.
    • Prices are inclusive of landing fees and VAT.
